UVA Batten School’s  Virginia Policy Review to host the 2nd Annual National Journal Conference January 17-19th

The goal of the National Journal Conference for Schools of Public Policy and Affairs (NJC) is to promote meaningful dialogue and exchange with the graduate student publication staffs of public policy and public affairs schools across the nation. The conference is endorsed by the Network of Schools of Public Affairs, Policy, and Administration (NASPAA). This year’s theme is “Policy with a Purpose: Making Your Journal Count.”

The event will begin on Friday, January 17 at 7:00 PM in the Rotunda with Batten School’s Dean Harry Harding giving opening remarks. We are honored to welcome such special guests as William Antholis, Managing Director of the Brookings Institution; Paul Kane, Washington Post Congressional Reporter; Sean Lowry, Congressional Research Service

Analyst; Randi Park, Publishing Officer at The World Bank; and

Annie Rorem, Policy Associate for the Demographics & Workforce Group at the University of Virginia Weldon Cooper Center for Public Service.
